Security & Business Tools
Credit Card Locks
To prevent fraud, keep your credit cards locked and only unlock when you need to use them.
Password Security
Consider using a password manager, such as Apple's Passwords app, to generate and securely store strong, unique passwords for your accounts. Unique passwords help reduce the risk of one compromised account exposing others.
SSN Locks
To enhance your security, activate a PIN with the IRS for your Social Security number, ensuring only the individual with that PIN can file on your behalf. Additionally, you can lock your SSN by contacting the credit bureaus.
MFA Security
Add an extra layer of protection to your accounts by enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA). Authentication apps such as Microsoft Authenticator or Duo can provide additional protection beyond your password.
Beware Phishing
Avoid opening emails or clicking on links from unknown sources.
